Constructor Detail

ProbabilityDialog

public ProbabilityDialog(java.awt.Frame o,
                         java.lang.String t,
                         double[] p,
                         java.lang.String[] s)
This general constructor creates a new modal probability dialog with a specified frame owner, a specified title, and specified probabilities and values.

Parameters:
o - the owner
t - the tile
p - the array of probabilities
s - the array of labels that specify the values

ProbabilityDialog

public ProbabilityDialog(java.awt.Frame o,
                         java.lang.String t,
                         double[] p)
This special constructor creates a new probability dialog with a specified frame owner, a specified title, and specified probabilities. The values are 1, 2, ..., n.

Method Detail

setProbabilities

public void setProbabilities(double[] p)
This method sets the array of probabilities.

Parameters:
p - the array of probabilities

setProbabilities

public void setProbabilities(int i,
                             double p)
This method sets the probability of a specified value.

Parameters:
i - the index of the value
p - the probability of the value

getProbabilities

public double[] getProbabilities()
This method returns all of the probabilities.

Returns:
the array of probabilities

getProbabilities

public double getProbabilities(int i)
This method returns the probability of value i.

Parameters:
i - the index
Returns:
the probability of the value with the given index.

actionPerformed

public void actionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent e)
This message handles the event generated when the user clicks on a button. If the OK button is chosen, the probabilities in the text fields are assigned to the probability array. The exception handling ensures that the probabilities are nonnegative and sum to 1. The dialog is disposed. If the cancel button is chosen, the dialog is disposed with no other action taken.

Specified by:
actionPerformed in interface java.awt.event.ActionListener
Parameters:
e - the action event

isOK

public boolean isOK()
This method returns a flag that specifies whether the OK or Cancel buttons have been pushed.

Returns:
true if the OK button was selected.

windowClosing

public void windowClosing(java.awt.event.WindowEvent e)
This method handles the event generated when the user clicks the close button. This is equivalent to the Cancel button and the dialog is disposed.

Specified by:
windowClosing in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener
Parameters:
e - the window event

windowOpened

public void windowOpened(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)
Specified by:
windowOpened in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener

windowClosed

public void windowClosed(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)
Specified by:
windowClosed in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener

windowActivated

public void windowActivated(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)
Specified by:
windowActivated in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener

windowDeactivated

public void windowDeactivated(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)
Specified by:
windowDeactivated in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener

windowConflicted

public void windowConflicted(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)

windowIconified

public void windowIconified(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)
Specified by:
windowIconified in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener

windowDeiconified

public void windowDeiconified(java.awt.event.WindowEvent event)
Specified by:
windowDeiconified in interface java.awt.event.WindowListener
